Phyllis (Clark) Anna

Phyllis A. Clark, 78, of Everett, a lifetime resident of Breezewood, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 11, 2011. She was born December 13, 1932 at her family home in East Providence Township, a daughter of the late Cecil E. Clark and Alma (O'Neal) Clark. On October 24, 1954 at the home of her mother and father, she married Clyde L. Clark, who passed away on August 29, 1987. She is survived by her niece G. Ranee Kinnaman, and husband Paul D. Kinnaman, of Bunker Hill, WV, and many loving and caring cousins, friends and church family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing away by an infant son Franklin Leroy Clark, and a brother Harold Ray Clark and his wife Inez (Breeden) Clark. Mrs. Clark was a faithful member of the Everett Church of God for over 50 years, where she loved to sing with the Church choir, share in the Ladies Ministry, was a member of the Prayer Group and was also a Sunday School teacher. She was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1952, and after graduation Phyllis worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone in Johnstown. After her marriage to Clyde, she was a homemaker and helped run her family's cattle farm, taking care of the livestock and gardening. At home she enjoyed celebrating the holidays and other special occasions with her family and friends, baking cookies and desserts for Church and family meals. She will be remembered for her own ministry of caring for others by sending a card to make note of your special day, visiting friends who were under the weather, taking others to Church or to doctor appointments who could not drive themselves, and will be greatly missed for her loving and caring ways. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Everett Church of God with Rev William R. Kisner officiating. Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Church on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com.
