Ralph D. Robinson

Ralph D. Robinson, 79, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 6th, 2013, with his family at his side. He was born Tuesday, February 13th, 1934 at his family home in Black Valley, a son of the late James Walter Robinson and Millie (Johnson) Robinson. On June 27th, 1953 in Cumberland, Maryland, he married Arlene Grace (Avey) Robinson who passed away in July of 2007. He is survived by their son, Gary Ralph "Gus" Robinson and wife Rebecca (Perrin) Robinson, of Everett A granddaughter Kristen Mary Kauffman and husband Josh, A great-granddaughter Lennon Gail Kauffman A sister Ruth Cornell A brother Ellis Blaine Robinson And many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. In addition to his parents and wife Arlene, he was preceded in passing away by a daughter Gail Robinson Koppenhaver in March of 2002 and a number of sisters, brothers, in-laws and friends. Mr. Robinson was a devout Christian and a lifelong member of the Black Valley Federated Church of the Brethren and Christian. He was employed as a truck driver throughout most of his lifetime and was a member of the Milton Lodge #256 F&AM in Milton, Pennsylvania. He was also a member of the Everett American Legion Post#8, the Improved Order of the Redman Wambic Tribe #507, and the Bedford Moose Lodge #480. Ralph enjoyed hunting, gardening, golfing, and together with his wife Arlene was a Trophy Bowler. He truly enjoyed spending time with his little Scottish Terrier Winston, playing fetch with a tennis ball and sharing ice cream. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 10th, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Black Valley Federated Church Pastor with Rev. Frank Wheeland officiating. Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, Pennsylvania on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, on Tuesday at the Church from 12:00 noon until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery. The Everett Lodge #524, F&AM will conduct services at the funeral home Monday at 7:30 pm.
