Raymond Melvin Hall, 78, of Harrisburg, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013, at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Harrisburg. He was born on Monday, January 20, 1935, in West Providence Township, a son of the late William Hall and Marie (Price) Hall. In June of 1972 he married Barbara Jean (Forrester) Hall, who passed away on May 24th, 1995. He is survived by his brother Ronald Hall of Greencastle, a sister Patricia (Hall) Clark of Chambersburg, a nephew David Bolan of Tucson, Arizona, and special friends Marlene "Suzy" Shomper, Tony Shomper and Muff, and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and their families. He was preceded in passing away by four sisters Mary Colledge, Hazel Hall, Charlotte Weitzel and Shirley Diehl and by five brothers Benjamin Ralph Hall, John Hall, Fred Hall, Charles T. Hall and James W. Hall Ray proudly served in the United States Army as a Private First Class, and after his service to his country, he began his lifelong career as a steel worker at Bethlehem Steel until retiring. At home he loved to take care of his lawn and prided himself on having the best lawn in his neighborhood. He truly enjoyed hanging out and sharing a cup of coffee with his buddies from the steel mill at the Turkey Hill, and also enjoyed working on small engines, fixing machines, listening to country western music and enjoyed the companionship of his pet dog Muff. A memorial service will be Saturday, April 27th, 2013, at 1:00 pm in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating.
