Robert Foltz Obituary
Robert D. Foltz, 69, of Everett, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
He was born on September 27, 1956, in Butler, PA, a son of the late Dean and Audene Burkett.
On July 15, 2023, in Everett, PA, he married Toshya Foltz.
Robert is survived by his wife, Toshya; two daughters, Tanya Kavanaugh and Tammy Pro; two sons, Greg and Lee Foltz; a brother, Scott Burkett; seven grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by a sister, Cathy Robins and wife, Trisha Foltz.
After graduation, Robert went to Pittsburgh Technical Institute and earned his associate degree in Certified Diesel Mechanics.
He pursued a career as a heavy equipment mechanic when he got his first job at Wilson’s Excavating. He learned many different skills in the craft, leading him to do his own mechanical jobs.
Robert enjoyed many things in life. Some of them were baseball, fishing, traveling, music, dancing, working on vehicles, and attending his children’s sporting events.
His greatest pride was his family and the friendships he nurtured throughout his life.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM, in the Chapel at Donelson Funeral Home with Pastor John Geyer officiating.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at Fishertown Cemetery, Schellsburg, PA.
