Robert H. "Bob" Reighard Jr.

Robert H. Reighard, Jr., 83, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. He was born October 24, 1927 at his family home in Altoona, a son of the late Robert H. Reighard, Sr. and Dorothy May (Kline) Reighard. He was married to Earline L. "Jean" (Neighbors) Reighard who passed away, and is survived by his sister Virginia G. Mostoller, of Everett his friend, Lucille Brant, of Everett 2 step daughters, Terry Marsh of Delaware, and Dawn Adams of Florida a step granddaughter Adrian, a step grandson, Andy and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in passing away by his first wife Ruth (Hargnette) Reighard, a son, Terry Reighard an infant sister Margaret an infant brother, Thomas a sister, Betty Ratliff and 3 brothers, William Kline, John Reighard, and Harold Reighard. Mr. Reighard was a member of Bald Hill Lutheran Church where he was a member of the choir as was a volunteer with many Church activities. He was first employed at Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown, and then worked as night watchman at the Midway Service Plaza on the turnpike in Bedford. Bob then worked as a deliveryman for Wonder Bread Hostess in Delaware until retiring to The Villages, Florida, later moving back home to Everett in 2004. He was a member of the Bedford Moose Lodge #480 and enjoyed attending the Gospel Hymn Sings at Friendship Village, playing golf with his friend John Hardsock, bowling with his friend Mike Anderson, and was a caring man who enjoyed lending a helping hand to others and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 1, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Bald Hill Lutheran Church with Pastor Jennie Barnes officiating. Friends may call at the Church on Monday from 10:00 am until hour of service, and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at St. Marks Lutheran Cemetery.
