Rodney Lee Crawford

Rodney L. Crawford, 55, of Johnstown, passed away on Tuesday, April 16th, 2013. He was born Monday, July 29th, 1957 at Memorial Hospital of Bedford County, a son of Shelby (Tew) Crawford of Manns Choice and the late Ivan R. Crawford. He is survived two children, Ryan Crawford of Valdese, NC, and Jamie Crawford of Hickory, NC Two grandchildren, Donavan and Dedrick Crawford of Hickory, NC Two sisters, Shelby Lackrone, of Louisiana Kathy Henderson, of Alum Bank Four brothers, Dan Diehl, of Hudson NC Dan Crawford, of Alum Bank Joe Crawford, of Alum Bank Jack Crawford, of Alum Bank Two stepsisters, Juniata Wilson, of Alum Bank and Charlotte Logsdon of Texas And a stepbrother Charles "Yogi" Logsdon, of Manns Choice In addition to his father, he was preceded in passing away by a brother Nathan Diehl. After his high school years, Rodney was a machine operator at API in Windber until retiring. At home enjoyed skillfully building model cars, was an avid NASCAR racing fan and Pittsburgh Steelers fan and who will be greatly missed by his family and friends, especially for his practical jokes. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 19th, 2013 at 7:00 pm in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating, Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Along with flowers, memorial contributions may in memory of Rodney to the funeral home.
