Ronald D. "Sonny" Clark, 88, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 20th, 2020. He was born Friday, March 20th, 1931 in Uniontown, PA, a son of the late Harvey Clark and Alice (Ritchey) Clark. On June 16th, 1949 in Cumberland, he married Donna M. (Baughman) Clark who passed away on March 1st, 1999.
He is survived by their children,

Mary Mellott and husband Rev. Tom Mellott of Carlisle,

Joe Clark and wife Kathy of Everett
Richard Clark of Everett,
Harold Clark and wife Cindra of Everett,
John Clark of Everett,
Lucy Lambert and husband Mel of Ryot,
Fay Clark of Everett, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in passing away by an infant daughter Diane Clark, a daughter-in-law Leslie (Bowser) Clark, his stepmother Clara Clark, a brother Robert Clark, and a stepbrother Terry Clark.
Mr. Clark was a member of the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren where he served as a church deacon and was a missionary who served overseas twice a year. A graduate of the Robert P. Smith School, Ronald, known to his family and friends as Sonny, first worked with his father Harvey as an independent logger.
He then served in the United States Army during the Korean War as a Corporal Technician with the 7th Quartermaster Company in Korea and Japan, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal with one Bronze Service Star, the Good Conduct Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
After his service to his country, Sonny worked as a logger with John Batzel in Tatesville, and upon John's retirement, Sonny bought John's equipment and was a self-employed logger until retiring.
In his younger years, he enjoyed playing baseball, making trips to the Ocean City beach area for fishing and clamming outings, and also enjoyed deer hunting. He was a member and past president of the Cove Lions Club in Loysburg and will be remembered for his love of fellowship with family and friends and his kind and giving ways.
Funeral service will be Monday, February 24th, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett with Pastor Mike Benner officiating.

Burial will be held at Bethel Brethren Cemetery.
