Ruth N. (Means) Price

Ruth N. Price, 88, of Everett, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018. She was born Thursday, November 7th, 1929 at her family home in Monroe Township, a daughter of the late Michael Means and Elsie (Clites) Means. On May 12th, 1951 in Cumberland, she married Harry E. Price who passed away on December 17th, 1962. She is survived by four daughters, Diana Shipley of Everett, Anna Perrin and husband Jim Perrin of Virginia, Virginia Bickert and husband Joe Bickert of Pittsburgh, Leone Price and companion Roger Latta of Everett, A son Clyde Price and fiancé Ellen Winter of Everett, Eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and their families and the all of those who called her grandma. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing away by an infant sister Alta Means, four sisters, Dorothy Smith, Betty Whiteside, Lura Ritchey and Eva Smith; two brothers Coy Means and Charles Means, and her companion in her younger years Clyde Stiffler. Ruth was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother who gladly hosted holiday gatherings for her family, as she loved to cook and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also likde to read, work word find puzzles, and enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning and will be greatly missed for the love she shared with so many. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett with Pastor Larry Magee officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until the hour of service and share memories online at dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Clearville Union Cemetery.
