Ryan Patrick Smith

Ryan Patrick Smith, 28, of Everett, who recently move to Ingleside, Illinois, passed away on Monday, March 14th, 2016 in Ingleside. He was born Wednesday, December 16th, 1987 at LaGrange Memorial Hospital in LaGrange, Illinois, a son of Vicki F. (Bell) Smith of Ingleside and the late Michael Scott Smith who passed away in February of 2011. He is survived by his brother Timothy R. Bell and wife Lacey (Bauer) Bell of Pittsburgh, a sister Alexa N, Leonteos of Ingleside, His aunt Cathy L. (Smith) Hays of Everett, A cousin Clifford E. "Chip" Hays and wife Amber (Davis) Hays of Hopewell, And many more loving cousins, friends and their families. In addition to his father, he was preceded in passing away by his paternal grandparents Kenneth E. Smith and Arlene K. (McFarland) Smith, great-grandmother Lyda McFarland, and his maternal grandmother Patricia (Bryce) Bell. A graduate of Everett Area High School, Class of 2007, Ryan worked before and after graduation at the Everett Foodliner as a stock boy and bagger, while caring for his father during his illness at home. After spending some time with family and friends after his father passed away, Ryan began working as a logger in Clearville, moving back to Illinois in August of 2015. A true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, Ryan also enjoyed riding motorcycle, playing video games, listening to rock and rap music and spending time drawing as a manor of expression. A dedicated son, brother and family man who willingly put his own needs aside for the care and concern of others he was a man of few words, though when he said he loved you, he meant it. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19th, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Chapel at Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett, with Chaplain Bruce Maxwell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00pm until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of Ryan through the funeral home.
