Stanley Eugene Muir 84, of Hopewell, pa. Formerly or Swanton, Md. Went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2024
Born on February 16, 1940, in Franklin, Md. then residing Westernport, Md.
He was the Son of Stanley Muir and Anna Frances (Gentry) Muir.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sister Beverly Ann Mertz of Westernport, Md. And his Son Stanley Ervin Muir of Terra Alta, Wv. And Grandson Christopher Scott Barcase of Keyser, Wv. And many Bother-in-Laws and Sister-in-Laws, Family and Friends.
He is Survived by his Wife Shirley Jean (Myers) Muir of 66 years. His Sister Sandra Kay Crossland of Rawlings, Md. Also Surviving are his Children Daughter Kimberly Sue Muir and Fiancé Raymond Allen Neff of Everett, Pa. His Grandchildren Melissa Sue (Barcase) Nesselrodt and Husband Robert Nesselrodt of New Creek Wv. , Kisa Marie Muir and Companion Tracey Lewis of Westernport, Md., Stanley Ervin Muir Jr. of Hopewell Pa., Chelsie Lynn (Muir) Pritt and Husband Dakota Pritt of Oakland, Md. His Great Grandchildren Alexa Sue (Nesselrodt) Junkins and Husband Joshua Junkins of Keyser, Wv., Chase Allen Nesselrodt and Companion Dana Bamburg of Keyser, Wv. , Kenneth Edward Wiles IV of Smithsburg, Md., Liam Xavier Muir of Westernport, Md., Tacey Annamarie Muir of Westernport, Md., Maci Lynn Pritt of Oakland, Md., Sofia Grace Pritt of Oakland, Md., Isabelle Ann Pritt of Oakland, Md., and a Great – Great Granddaughter Baby Junkins coming in March.
Stanley was a Graduate of Bruce High School Westernport, Md. Class of 1958. He retired from Westvaco Paper Mill Luke, Md. With 43 years of Service. He also was the Owner/Operater of Muir’s Taxidermy on Backbone Mountain Swanton, Md. For 40 Years.
In his younger years he enjoyed Hunting and Fishing with his friends, his Wife and his Grandson Christopher. He also took many Hunting and Fishing trips.
At his request there will be no Services. The Family will Honor his wishes and be Cremated.
