Susan Jo Williams

Susan J. Williams, 58, of Everett, PA, crossed over to heaven on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

She was born in Everett, PA on October 29, 1965, a daughter of the late Eddie and Joan (Steele) Williams.

Susan is survived by two daughters, Clair Williams and Brooke Heartman; a sister, Beth Williams; and three brothers, Joe Williams, Scott Williams, and Daniel Reed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by a brother, Jesse Reed.

After graduating from Everett Area High School, Susan worked as a housekeeper for Ramada Inn, Breezewood. She was customer service manager at 76 Truckstop (Perkins), then Lawn and Gardens manager at Walmart, and lastly a housekeeper at UPMC Bedford Memorial.

Susan displayed a high level of creative talent and had a passion for painting. She enjoyed spending time outdoors where she felt peaceful and free. The fresh air inspired her and gave her a sense of calm. She was fond of tracing her family roots and found genealogy to be a rewarding and enriching hobby. This also gave her an opportunity to preserve the past for future generations.

Attending church her entire life, she was a deeply religious woman that had a strong belief and was devoted and faithful.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Steven’s Chapel United Methodist Church, Breezewood, PA with Pastor John Geyer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Susan to Donelson Funeral Home to assist the family.
