Susan K. "Susie" Yoder, 53, of Everett, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 31st, 2015. She was born Thursday, January 18th, 1962 in Altoona, a daughter of Helen E. (Waite) Miller of Everett and the late Clyde E. Miller. On June 18th, 1983 at Berean Baptist Church in Duncansville, she married William A. Yoder who survives along with their children, Ashley E. Hinkle and husband Brian D. Hinkle of Loysburg, Katie G. Talbert and husband Matthew T. Talbert of Duncansville, 6 grandchildren, Noah Hinkle, Logan Hinkle, Braden Hinkle, Emily Hinkle, Harley Talbert, and Hunter Talbert, all at home, A brother Richard K. Miller and son Eric R. Miller of Omer, Michigan, And many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and their families. Susie was an active member of the Clear Creek Brethren in Christ Church in Everett and prior to moving to Everett was a longtime member of the Riggles Gap Bible Church in Duncansville. A graduate of Keystone Christian Academy, Class of 1980, she also attended Hyles-Anderson Christian College in Indiana. She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home where she worked until retiring. At home, Susie enjoyed baking, doing her cross-stitch, spending time with her beloved dog Murray, and had a deep-rooted love for her faith and family. She will be remembered for her daily witness of our Lord and sharing her faith with all who passed along through her journeys. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 5th, 2015 at 4:00 pm at the Clear Creek Brethren in Christ Church, Everett, with Rev. John Geyer officiating. Friends may call at the Church from 2:00 pm until the hour of service and share memories online at www.dallavalle-everett.com. Along with flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Susie to the Bedford County Humane Society, 1108 Lutzville Road, Everett, PA 15537.
