Thelma I. Colledge, 94, of Breezewood, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Friday, March 3, 2023. She was born on December 21, 1928, in Breezewood, a daughter of the late Louis and Verna (Spade) Wilt. On November 12, 1948, she married Wallace Colledge, who preceded her in death on June 4, 2003.
She is survived by her son, Eric Colledge and wife Diane, a daughter, Greta Hartman and husband Paul; two brothers, J. Ivan Wilt and Rick Wilt; two sisters, Suzi Foor and Carol Jordan; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing by two brothers, Robert Wilt and Dennis Wilt.
Thelma was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1946. After graduation, she and her husband opened the Veteran’s Gulf Service Gas Station in Breezewood and the Motel 70 and Restaurant 70 in Crystal Springs.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Breezewood, Breezewood Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary Club, Red Hats, and Silver Sneakers.
Creating memories that will last a lifetime, Thelma demonstrated the importance of family with her unconditional love. She enjoyed spending time with her family by celebrating as much togetherness as possible.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 1, at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Breezewood. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 1, starting at 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Friends and Family may share memories online at www.donelsonfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and UPMC Family Hospice.
Burial will be at Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
