Obituary

William M. Berger, 76, of Schellsburg, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022.
 
He was born Wednesday, April 25, 1945, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a son of the late William Berger and Lou (Lohr) Berger.
 
He is survived by two sons, William Berger and Robert Berger; two sisters, Janet Hoffman and Patricia Gore; and two grandchildren, William and Samantha Berger.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Bernice, and a brother, David Berger.
 
After graduation, Bill joined the United States Navy where he served from 1963 to 1966. Once returning from service, he worked at US Steel and Wal-Mart for many years until his retirement.
 
Bill enjoyed building model airplanes, hunting, fishing, and camping. He like watching sports and spending time with his son’s nephew, Zach.
