William Michael Redmond

William M. Redmond, 69, of Everett, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Born in Washington, D.C. on May 7, 1957, he was the son of the late William J. Redmond and Lenora (Fitzmaurice) Redmond.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Gonsman; four brothers, James and Scruff, Spencer, Wayne, and Lee; six grandchildren, Aaron, Donte, Maria and her husband Blake, Roger, Nadia, and Moon; six great-grandchildren, Douglas, Daliuh, Atticus, Graeson, Alexandre, and Patrick; and his special friend, Helen Marie.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in passing by a brother, Joe; a sister, Donna; and a stepmother, Laura. 

Following his graduation from high school, William began his career as a printer for the United States Government, a position in which he took great pride.

William enjoyed many hobbies and interests throughout his life. He had a passion for building and construction, collecting coins and attending coin shows, listening to music and attending concerts, and playing card games—especially poker and participating in tournaments. He also enjoyed visiting flea markets, investing in stocks and bonds, camping with his family, target shooting in his younger years, and playing basketball whenever he had the opportunity.

Above all, William cherished his family. He deeply enjoyed spending time with them and creating lasting memories together.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Donelson Funeral Home LLC.
