Throughout her lifetime, Mrs. Weaverling attended various Methodist Churches near her home, and faithfully attended Chapel Services at Pennknoll Village. She was a graduate of Broad Top High School, and after her marriage to Roy, was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her children and caring for her family. Once the kids were grown, Winnie began working as a seamstress at Lion Manufacturing in Everett. Accepting a job at the original Sheetz store in Bedford, she worked there until retiring, but returned to work when the store reopened on Mile Level. Spending time with family was important to Winnie, especially "making a fuss" over her children and great grandchildren, playing and working on crafts with them. She also loved to cook, enjoyed bowling and working crossword puzzles, camping with her family, traveling with her friends and will be greatly missed for her terrific sense of humor.
